A Quick Note

This will be just a brief note. Anjelica and I just returned from York and I am quite tired. Our train coming back from York was delayed by about an hour and a half, combined with the large amount of walking and sight-seeing, I am not really able to provide the sort of review of York that it deserves. I will say that I had an awesome time, that York is amazing, and I plan to chronicle everything that happened as soon as I can tomorrow.

I plan to do very little, get some rest, yet still get a lot accomplished tomorrow. Since tomorrow is Sunday I will be resting yet I will also be worshiping God. But in regards to today here are a few quick things I'll mention:

1. I took 233 photographs today.
2. Yorkminster is amazing (even that feels like too simple of a word).
3. I have greater appreciation for people who travel long distances while carrying heavy backpacks.
4. My opinion of the British people has increased exponentially.
5. The English countryside is beautiful (even the parts which have flooded due to heavy rain in the north).
6. I do believe the English may very well have perfected the art of pastry-making.
7. I thank God for the opportunity to come over here and witness this spectacular place.

With that, I'm off to sleep.
